Documentation of a field-based training on Smallholder Irrigation and Value Chains

An international training workshop on smallholder irrigation and value chains was held from November 16 - 29, 2003 in Aurangabad, India. The training included a lot of field work. Aurangabad is a centre of low-cost drip irrigation use in India, and the participants were able to interact with many different actors from farmers over assemblers to manufacturers. The presentations given during the training and the outputs of group work and discussions are now available in a draft form on this website.
